Gits Kalakand (Malai Burfi) recipe with a twist



I tried making Kalakand (Malai Burfi) using Gits instant mix. Since my folks are not very fond of dairy sweets, I added fresh grated coconut and cardamom powder to the mix and it turned out to be really delicious! Oh yes, and I also added some orange colour to the preparation so that it doesn't look too much of a dairy product. Not that I recommend using food colours, but once in a while I think it's fine.
