Diwali shopping list for kitchen to avoid last minute rush

Diwali is on 26th October in 2011 and if you are planning to prepare sweets and snacks for the festival, this is the time to stock up the ingredients for two reasons:

  1. You don't want to rush for ingredients at the last hour.
  2. You can peacefully shop at this time, supermarkets and shops will be pretty crowded as Diwali approaches.

  22. Mawa / Khoa (buy on the day of preparing the dish)
